Performance of Rex Isenberg's Das Stunden-Buch
In celebration of its 40th anniversary, Lebanon Family Health Services will present a special concert on Sunday, at 1:30 p.m., at the Allen Theatre in Annville. Admission will be by donation. All of the proceeds will benefit LFHS, which is celebrating 40 years of serving the community.
The concert will feature three acclaimed classical musicians – all alums of the Manhattan School of Music in New York City – Noor Sandhu, a mezzo-soprano; Sophia Subbayya Vastek, on piano; and Eric Umble, on clarinet.
The recital will include masterworks from the repertoires of Mozart, Copland, Wolf and Spohr, as well as the North American premiere of a commissioned work by New York composer Rex Isenberg.
